1965 corvette

Changes to the 1965 Corvette include three vertical slanting louvers on the sides of the front fenders.  If you recall, the 64 vette had two.  In addition, different rocker panel moldings were the main styling changes.  This year also introduced an optional 396 cid big block. It is also noteworthy to mention that four wheel disc brakes were standard in 65.

An L78 powered 65 Corvette pounded the pavement from 0-60 in 5.7 seconds, and from 0-100 in 13.4 seconds.

The wheelbase was 98 inches, while the overall length was 175.2 inches (convertible), coupes were 175.3 inches.

1965 corvette

1965 Chevy Corvette convertible very rare black exterior red interior car. This is a 327/365 horsepower, it is believed to have an after warrenty replacement block date coded 1966. This Corvette was a complete nut and bolt frame off restoration completed in 2002.
